Apple’s Single Sign-On for Apple TV Now Supports 10 More Providers

Apple has added ten new TV providers to their growing list that support Single Sign-On, the company’s method of making it easier to log into cable-backed apps like CBS and NBC across the Apple TV and TV app on iOS (via 9to5Mac). These new providers are as follows:

  • Comporium
  • Fidelity Communications
  • Liberty Cablevision of PR
  • MCTV
  • Northland Communications
  • Service Electric Cablevision
  • Shentel
  • Vast Broadband
  • Vyve Broadband
  • Wave

Obviously, two of the biggest players in the cable TV spectrum, Comcast and Verizon, still aren’t supported. Hopefully, this changes soon since so many folks use Xfinity and Fios.

With today’s announcement, the total number of supported TV providers has totaled 24. You can view a full list here.
