Google has updated its Allo messaging app to version 14 across Android and iOS, and with the update brings new message reactions. Now, when someone sends you a text message on the platform, you’ll be able to tap a little heart to tell your friend whether you like what they just said. It’s a simple addition that may come in handy in, say, group chats so you don’t notify everyone if you replied to something.

Of course, probably the only thing users of Allo want at this point is SMS integration. Google hasn’t shared anything on the development of this feature, so we don’t even know if it’s coming or not. Regardless, you’ll have to compensate by sending hearts to your friends to tell them you like what they’re talking about.
