Apple Adds PayPal as Payment Method for iTunes, App Store, and More

Today, Apple and PayPal announced the integration of the latter’s service into the former’s payment method selections. Starting today in Canada and Mexico, users can choose to pay for goods bought through iTunes, the App Store, Apple Music, and iBooks by using their PayPal account. For whatever reason, PayPal says U.S. availability is coming “soon.”

The payment method works exactly the same as you’d think – you select PayPal from the payment list in your account settings and log in. Once you’re finished, all further payments you make with your Apple ID will be processed through your PayPal account.

But again, it’s not available in the U.S. yet. In fact, we don’t have word on when it will be, but let’s hope it’s soon.
