Apple’s iPhone 8 couldn’t leak or be more anticipated than it is right now. And it looks like things are getting pretty serious as case manufacturer Olixar claims to have leaked the exact design of the handset via their new lineup of cases, as per 9to5Mac.
The cases seem to confirm what we already know about the smartphone. It won’t feature any bezels except a cutout for the cameras and earpiece, it’ll have vertically laid out dual rear cameras, and the iPhone 8s’ dimensions won’t differ much when compared to the iPhone 7. The company is even promising these cases will fit the new device, with preorders going live starting today. A leaked screen protector for the device is also “guaranteed” to fit and is also up for preorder.
It’s also worth noting the iPhone 8 likely won’t feature a Touch ID sensor around the back as these cases don’t have a cutout for it, at least according to these images. Therefore, it’s pretty safe to assume Apple will likely place the technology below the display like originally anticipated.
While we can’t confirm these cases are legitimate, we can say they line up with previous leaks about the device and seem to depict a similar design many people are expecting to see come September. We’ll have to wait and see what comes of them when Apple officially unveils the iPhone 8 later this year.
