You Can Now Get 2TB of iCloud Storage for $9.99/Month

Yet another announcement that wasn’t made onstage during the WWDC 2017 keynote happens to regard iCloud. Apple has upgraded the current $9.99/month subscription to include 2TB of iCloud storage space for users, replacing the previous 1TB storage tier. This means that you can now spend $0.99/month for 50GB of space, $2.99/month for 200GB, and $9.99/month for a massive 2TB. This will obviously come in handy for families who share their iCloud storage, but this is nevertheless a pretty sweet deal.

In case you’re wondering, you’ll automatically be upgraded to 2TB of iCloud storage if you’re currently signed up to recevie 1TB of space at $9.99/month.

For comparison, both Google Drive and Dropbox charge $9.99/mont for 1TB of space. You can obviously expect both of these services to take some type of action in this regard in the near future. Microsoft charges a little less at $6.99/month for 1TB of space and an Office 365 subscription, but you still don’t get that extra terabyte to store all of those documents and spreadsheets.
