After much anticipation and many rumors surrounding the handset, OnePlus will officially unveil their 2017 flagship smartphone, known as the OnePlus 5, on June 20th during a live event streaming online at 12 PM EDT/9 AM PDT. The company confirmed the news today via a landing page on their website.

Not only will the company take the wraps off the smartphone, but OnePlus will also be offering a variety of pop-up shops to show the OnePlus 5 off around the world. This includes shops located in New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Helsinki. Each of these shops will open the day after, June 21st, while the one in New York will open on the 20th and have special guest Marques Brownlee (a.k.a. MKBHD).

The OnePlus 5 is rumored to feature a 1080p display, dual rear cameras, and a smaller footprint when compared to the OnePlus 3. We know for sure it’ll have a Snapdragon 835 processor. Stay tuned to MBEDDED for more details.
