Here’s the List of Devices Getting iOS 11

Apple today unveiled iOS 11, a rather muted OS upgrade for the iPhone at least when compared to iOS 10. But with the iPad, things have indeed been turned up to 11 with new multitasking features that better utilize the functionality and power of recent iPads. Of course, many of you may be wondering who will receive the free upgrade come this fall when it begins rolling out. Whelp, here’s your list.

As you’ll notice, the iPhone 5, 5c, and iPod touch 5th generation aren’t on this list. This is due to Apple dropping support for all 64-bit devices with iOS 11. It makes sense to drop some devices eventually as we continue to progress with 64-bit architectures, so it looks like those of you with 2012 iPhones may wanna upgrade soon.

iOS 11 is currently in beta and will be released to the public in Fall 2017.
