Instagram has released an update to it’s Windows 10 application that allows users to upload photos and videos directly from their desktop. Before, you were required to have a touchscreen-enabled device to perform this action, but with today’s update, Instagram advertises you can now take a picture with your webcam and upload it directly to their platform. Obviously, no one is ever going to do this and instead will probably just upload pictures not already on their smartphone, but hey, they’re not gonna say it’s a workaround so you don’t have to keep using your phone.

Version 10.913.38071 of Instagram for Windows 10 is now rolling out to all users.
