Nike Unveils New Apple Watch Bands That Match Your Shoes from ‘Day to Night’

Today, Nike unveiled a new collection of Apple Watch bands that are meant to complement your shoes. The collection, called “Day to Night,” is designed to celebrate runners “whenever they choose to run – at twilight, sunset and everything in between.” Mind you, “day to night” doesn’t mean these bands change color during the day or anything. On the contrary, they’re basically colored in their respective ways to match different time periods throughout the day.

Each of the colors is inspired by a shade of the sky, from dawn to dusk, and allows runners to – for the first time – make a statement by matching their Apple Watch Nike+ bands to their footwear.

As is the case with all of Nike’s Apple Watch bands, there are holes throughout the straps to cool down your wrist and whisk away sweat, while flexible fluoroelastomer material is used for construction. They cost $49 and will go on sale starting June 1st on Nike.com and select Nike retail stores. They’ll also be available from “Apple.com, Apple Stores, select Apple Authorized Resellers and select specialty stores and department stores” from “early June.” The shoes, in case you’re wondering, cost $190 for a pair.
