Moto’s Entire 2017 Lineup of Smartphones Unveiled in One Picture

There’s been an absolute truckload of leaks surrounding Moto’s upcoming Android-powered smartphones, and a new image that surfaced over the weekend unveils then all at once. Via Evan Blass (@evleaks), the entire 2017 lineup of Moto-branded phones has been unveiled as per a press briefing that seems like was pretty closed off at least in terms of U.S. reporters.

As you can see, everything from the upcoming Moto Z2 lineup to the new super-budget Moto C series has been unveiled. Starting from the top, it looks like Moto will go for just tow phones in the Z series for 2017: the Z2 Force and Z2 Play with no middle-man ultra-tin option. Support for last year’s generation of Moto Mods will be included, while headphone jacks will likely be on both handsets this time around rather just the Play variant. We expect a Snapdragon 835 in the Z2 Force and something like a Snapdragon 660 in the Z2 Play alongside QHD and 1080p displays, respectively.

Next up, the highly leaked Moto X4 will be offered as a more super-mid-range option with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, dual cameras, possibly a Snapdragon 660 processor, and a massive 3800mAh battery that should provide extreme battery life thanks to the light-on-juice 660 chipset. It’s unclear when this handset will surface officially, but given the number of leaks over the recent past, we probably don’t have much more of a wait in front of us.

The Moto G5 will get a slight bump to the Moto G5 S and G5 S Plus, but there’s currently not much information available on these mid-term updates other than larger displays.

The Moto E4 will also reach the market and arrive in a standard 5-inch form factor and a 5.5-inch Plus size which will include an extremely massive 5,000mAh battery.

Lastly, the new Moto C series will see it’s debut this year at the very bottom of everyone’s budget and come in two 5-inch variants with different screen resolutions.

All of these devices with the exception of the Z series will feature similar bodies to the already-available G5 and G5 Plus in which a big camera sensor and metal/aluminum will be the main focal points. We’ll have to wait to find out more about Moto’s lineup of smartphones for 2017, but so far, it’s looking pretty strong.
