Moto Unveils New C and C Plus Budget Smartphones Starting at $97

Starting with the former, the Moto C sports a 5-inch 854×480 display, a quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 or 16GB of expandable storage, a 5MP rear camera and 2MP selfie cam, and a 2350mAh battery. The handset comes in either a 3G or 4G version depending on what network speeds you need and how much you can spend.

The C Plus, on the other hand, takes things up a notch with a 5-inch HD display, an 8MP rear camera, 16GB of storage, 1 or 2GB of RAM, and a massive 4,000mAh battery. This handset only comes in a 4G variant, so no saving money in this department.

Both handsets run Android 7.0 Nougat with Moto’s customizations on top. The 3G C will sell for €89 (about $97 USD) while the 4G C will go for €99 (about $108 USD). The C Plus will retail for €119 (roughly $130 USD). Each handset won’t be reaching the U.S., but they will be available across Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Four colors are available: cherry, white, gold, and black.
