Microsoft Signs HP to Build a New Cortana-Powered Speaker

During their Build 2017 event today, Microsoft announced they’ve signed on HP to build a new home assistant speaker powered by Cortana. Just the other day, Harmon Kardon announced the first Cortana-powered speaker called the Invoke, so it looks like this device was just the beginning.

As for specifics and details surrounding this new speaker, there’s currently nothing to go by. However, we expect to hear more from both HP and Microsoft in the near future.

In addition, Microsoft has also signed Intel to develop reference platforms. Again, little information is known at this time, but stay tuned.
