Another day, another iPhone 8 leak. This time, a new image has surfaced via KKSneakLeaks which claims to show off a case that’ll fit the upcoming iPhone 8 smartphone. We get a general idea of what the phone may look like and how it’s parts will be laid out, with most of the indications from today’s leak falling in line with recent reports.
As you can see, it looks like the iPhone 8 will, in fact, have dual cameras that sit vertically rather horizontally like the iPhone 7 Plus. It’ll also be dropping the headphone jack yet again, while an abnormally long power button will sit on the right-hand side. At least according to this leak, a rear-mounted Touch ID sensor won’t be making it to this handset, therefore contradicting what recent leaks have suggested. To me, this is one of the most oddball things for Apple to do, so I think I’d place my bet on having an embedded fingerprint sensor in the display of the iPhone 8 if anything.
There’s not much to go by, but at least we’re starting to see hardcore evidence of the upcoming iPhone 8 popping up online. Come the summer and late August, things are gonna spiral out of control. Stay tuned to MBEDDED for more.
