Amazon today announced a new member to the Echo family called the Echo Look. This device uses built-in cameras, speakers, and microphones to literally judge you based on how well you’re dressed. The company touts they’ve received submissions of advice from fashion experts to literally let you know whether that top is YES or NO.

Truly, the Echo Look is literally just for fashion purposes. You can take a picture of yourself in an outfit, take a video of yourself in an outfit, ask Alexa how you look in an outfit, share yourself in an outfit with your friends – basically any smart function you may want in your dressing room, Echo Look can provide. And of course, Echo Look works just like a standard Echo so you can ask it questions and get information. There’s also a companion app that lets you view any photos or videos you’ve taken with the accessory.

Amazon’s description of Echo Look can be found below.

With Echo Look, you can take full-length photos of your daily look using just your voice. The built-in LED lighting and depth-sensing camera let you blur the background to make your outfits pop, giving you clean, shareable photos. Get a live view in the Echo Look app or ask Alexa to take a short video so you can see yourself from every angle. View recommendations based on your daily look and use Style Check for a second opinion on what looks best. And, because Alexa is built in the cloud, she’s always getting smarter—and so will Echo Look.

It’s worth noting that since the Echo Look is connected to the internet and has cameras, it may not be a good idea to get dressed in front of it for fear of hackers viewing your undressed self. Hey, I’m not saying it’ll happen. I’m just giving you a slight warning.

Additionally, Amazon says Echo Look will continue to get smarter since it’s connected to the cloud and updates can be delivered on the fly.

If you actually need an Echo Look, it’s gonna cost $199. It’s also a bit hard to get one, with an invite-only currently being in place. Luckily, you can request an invitation here.
