Apple Updates Apple Music for Android to v2.0 with Complete Redesign and Lyrics

Apple today released a much-needed update to their Apple Music for Android application available as a free download from the Play Store. The update, bringing the version number to 2.0, includes a complete redesign that mimics the look Apple gave it’s music streaming service with iOS 10 alongside lyric integration, allowing users to read the words to their favorite songs.

You can check out some screenshots alongside the full list of release notes below.

An all-new design brings greater clarity and simplicity to Apple Music:
Now Playing. Read lyrics for songs as you listen.
Library. Navigate your music easily and see the Downloaded Music you can play offline.
For You. Get recommendations for playlists, albums, and more—based on music you love.
Browse. Listen to new music first, plus playlists for any mood or activity.
Radio. Tune in to Beats 1 shows or listen to stations for any genre.
You can download Apple Music for Android v2.0 from the Play Store for free here.
