Here’s How Much the Galaxy S8 and S8+ Will Cost at Carriers

At Samsung’s Unpacked 2017 event today, the company unveiled their latest smartphones: the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Each feature a pretty impressive set of specifications such as big and beautiful Infinity Displays, a Snapdragon 835 processor (the first phone to do so), all-new 12MP cameras, fresh batteries that shouldn’t explode this time around, Android Nougat, Samsung’s Bixby assistant, DeX, and more. Of course, you’re probably wondering how much this thing is gonna run you, so here’s a rundown of all the outlets where you’ll be able to pick up an S8 or S8+.


AT&T

AT&T has announced that they’ll sell the Galaxy S8 for $750 at full retail price, while those on AT&T Next can get it for $25/month for 30 months or on the Next Every Year plan for $31.25/month for 24 months. Preorders start March 30th, with those who do eligible to receive a free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack.

For the S8+, you’ll have to pay $850 at full retail, while AT&T Next will give you the phone for $28.34/month for 30 months or, on their Next Every Year plan, for $35.42/month for 24 months.

T-Mobile

Those on T-Mobile can get the S8 for $750 at full retail price (for MetroPCS, it’ll cost $729). On a contract, it’ll run you $30/month for 24 months alongside an up-front $30 payment. For Jump! customers, there’s no down payment necessary but your rate will go up to $33/month for 24 months.

As for the S8+, we’re looking at $850 retail. A $130 down payment is necessary for a contract with a rate of $30/month for 24 months, while on Jump!, it’ll cost you the same price minus the down payment.

Preorders start March 30th with preorder customers receiving a free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack. T-Mobile @Work customers are eligible for a free DeX dock with an in-store preorder.

Verizon

For those on Verizon, you can get the S8 for $720 at full retail price ( up to $30 below the competition), while the S8+ will cost $840. The former will cost $30/month for 24 months on monthly installments, while the latter will run you $35/month for 24 months.

Perks include either a free Gear VR with Controller and Oculus content pack or a $99 “Experience Box” with a Gear VR with Controller, Harmon Kardon headphones, and a 256GB microSD card. There’s also other perks in line which can be seen below.

Finally, on Sprint, the standard S8 will cost you $750 at full retail or $31.25/month over an 18-month lease. For the S8+, you’ll have to fork up $850 at full retail or $35.42/month over an 18-month lease.

As is the case with everyone else, preorders go live tomorrow, March 30th.
