Check Out the New Spider-Man: Homecoming Posters

Spider-Man is set to swing back into theaters this summer, and Marvel isn’t letting the hype train come to a halt any time soon. The company has unveiled two new promotional posters for Homecoming which show the friendly neighborhood wall crawler paired with the Avengers’ headquarters in New York. They’re pretty playful (especially the first one) which is what you should come to expect from promos involving Spidey – a teenage superhero – in the first place.

It’s clear that by the indication of these posters, the Avengers will play a strong role in developing what type of storyline Spider-Man will now follow on the big screen. Previously, Marvel had barely played a role in dictating which route the web slinger would travel upon in Sony’s two franchises directed, respectively, by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb. Now, the studio has no other choice but to guide the spider bite-striken teen to a new path, and what better way to do so than involve the Avengers and the rest of the MCU?

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters July 7th, 2017.
