Microsoft’s Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile Won’t Roll Out Until Later

It took the company a week to make the same move with the Anniversary Update, and it now looks like Windows 10 Mobile users will have to wait a bit longer to receive the Creators Update after the new software rolls out to Windows 10 users on PCs. The news comes via Softpedia who obtained a statement from Microsoft regarding how the rollout would take place.

“The initial update will be for desktop, but other versions will be available thereafter,” a company spokesperson told us.

To anyone, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s no question that Microsoft can slack a bit when it comes to platforms other than their leader, Windows 10 on PCs. That being said, it is a bit sad to see the company making the same move with their next update currently scheduled for full rollout in April. But I guess this is an indication that Microsoft may be steering away from WXM, for better or for worse.

  1. When you say it will take a bit longer, do you know how much longer? Also, do you know which carriers will be available when it first comes out? like for example, Apple used to make it so that iPhone was only available with AT&T at first. I use TMobile and generally buy my new phones at my local branch http://www.shopclearly.com/t-mobile-5e39-decatur-ga-30034/. Do you have any insite?
