Microsoft is Adding a Popular macOS Feature to Windows 10

It’s been discovered (via MSPoweruser) that Microsoft will be adding a feature to Windows 10 as a part of the Creators Update which Apple macOS users have enjoyed for quite some time: the ability to block installations of desktop apps that don’t come from the built-in app store. The feature is currently live in the latest Fast ring build of the operating system and comes disabled by default.


We’re expecting to see the Creators Update begin rolling out in early April so stay tuned.
