Sony’s Latest SD Card is the ‘World’s Fastest’

Sony has announced a new SD card dubbed the ‘SF-G Series UHS-II SD Memory Card,’ and it’s apparently the world’s fastest SD card. Ever.

According to Sony, the SD card features read/write speeds of up to 300MB/s and 299 MB/s, respectively. That’s pretty fast for such a small drive. It’s also X-ray proof, waterproof, temperature resistant and shock-proof, but those are just perks you get when you pick up the fastest SD card ever.

Pricing hasn’t been announced yet for the SF-G Series UHS-II SD Memory Card, but we do know it’ll come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage capacities. We also know it’ll launch sometime next month, so click here to learn when it lands.
