Here’s a Rundown of the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8+ Specs

As if the rumor mill could ever slow down, Evan Blass has once again leaked an element of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone, this time detailing the specifications of the larger 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+. In a tweet, @evleaks reveals the 6.2-inch Quad HD+ display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, iris scanner, and more currently set to come packed inside the handset. A full rundown can be found below.

Yes, a 6.2-inch display is absolutely huge for a smartphone, but rumor has it the Galaxy S8+ will feature a screen that nearly meets the edges of the body, therefore allowing it to be not much bigger than something like the Galaxy Note 7 which measures in at 6.04 inches. As for other specs, the now usual dust and water resistants is present; a 12MP and 8MP rear/front camera sensor array is here; expandable memory makes a return; and even earphones tuned by AKG will be included in the box.

In terms of processor, it’s expected for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ to both feature a Snapdragon 835, but we don’t currently have any confirmation on this. That said, we don’t have much longer until Samsung unveils the new S8 handsets as they’re expected to at the end of March, so hang tight.
