Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book Hinted in New App Published to Windows Store

Samsung looks to be introducing a new tablet-based Surface competitor soon with the Galaxy Book if a newly leaked app published to the Windows Store is of any indication. MSPoweruser originally spotted the leak which appears to still be available in the Store at the time of writing this.

Here’s the app’s description, further indicating that the Galaxy Book is real and is coming soon.

Install ‘Book Settings’ which includes Battery Life Extender, Screen mode, Pattern Log-in, User manual, and other Samsung features.

Book Settings is an application for Galaxy Book. It may not function normally on other devices.

As you can see in the image above, it looks like the Galaxy Book will feature an AMOLED display and support for pen input. You’ll also be able to set the maximum battery capacity to 85% in order to preserve the cell’s lifespan. Currently, there’s no indication when this device may make an official debut, but since MWC 2017 is right around the corner, we can’t help but think this may be the very spot. Stay tuned.
