Moto G5 and G5 Plus Specs and Images Leak – Here’s What You Need to Know

Electronics retailer K-Tronix today leaked what appear to be official images and spec lists for Moto’s upcoming G5 and G5 Plus handsets. The news was initially reported by Droid-Life and popped up in a listing that wasn’t supposed to appear until later.

As for the specs, the Moto G5 will include a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 2800mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, and Android Nougat. Regarding the G5 Plus, things are stepped up slightly with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 625 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower Charging, a 12MP dual pixel autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front camera, NFC, and Android Nougat. Both devices have fingerprint sensors mounted to their fronts and come in what appears to be aluminum bodies and two colors: Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.

As of now, exact details remain blurry regarding the devices such as pricing and availability, but we should see the G5 duo’s unveiling relatively soon, likely at MWC 2017. Of course, we’ll update if anything new surfaces.
