Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Gets a Teaser, and It Reveals a Lot About the Film

Marvel unexpectedly published a teaser for the upcoming 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War this weekend, and it reveals quite a few details regarding the movie. In the clip, interviews with various team members behind the project are conducted alongside a very notable one with Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt all who will be starring in Infinity War.

And yes, if I must specify, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Star Lord alongside the other Guardians of the Galaxy will all be in one film with the rest of the Avengers. I think we all just experienced our jaws drop.

Sure, we don’t have any real footage from the film as of yet as production just started last month, but we nevertheless learn more about Infinity War and get to see one set where filming will take place.

Most notably, the heroes in Infinity War will be battling Thanos, probably the most powerful villain the Avengers will ever face. The reason for his uprising is due to Captain America and Iron Man splitting the Avengers up at the end of Captain America: Civil War, leaving the world unprotected by a team of heroes and most vulnerable to destruction. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, says they’ve been setting up Thanos since the first Iron Man movie was made. Therefore, they’ve definitely had plenty of time to get the story right (or at least let’s hope so).

It’s also said that Infinity War “is the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as started in May of 2008 with Iron Man 1.” I think, then, it’s safe to assume this will be the most epic Marvel movie ever made, period.

“So how much longer do we have to wait to see this movie in the theater?” Unfortunately, Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4th, 2018, so we’ve got a little more than a year to go. But with sneak peeks popping up like this one, fanboys’ hunger should be satisfied until then.
