Google is currently holding a promotion where you can get a free four-month trial of both Google Play Music and YouTube Red. It’s unfortunately only available for new subscribers who haven’t tried the services before in the past, but it’s still a great way to get your feet wet in the world of subscription-based content.
If you aren’t familiar with Google Play Music, it works basically like Spotify and Apple Music by offering over 35 million songs at any given time for users to stream and download for later listening. You’ll also have access to all the free features such as radio, podcasts, and uploading your own 50,000 songs. In regards to YouTube Red, it’s basically YouTube without ads, a key to unlock exclusive content, and the ability to listen to videos while navigating somewhere else on your phone thanks to background playback. It’s a pretty sweet package that would normally run you $39.96 for four months, but thanks to this new deal, you can get everything for free for the time specified.
As is the case with most free trials, Google will still require credit card details as during the fifth month, you’ll be charged $9.99 for the services. But you’ll have enough time during your trial to cancel your subscription and still enjoy the free trial. If you wanna give Play Music and YouTube Red a go, click here.
