During today’s Developer Day stream, Microsoft teased (via Windows Central) the future of Windows 10’s design in a PowerPoint slide which seems to depict Project Neon. If you recall, we recently saw leaked screenshots of the new design language likely to be used in Redstone 3 (the next major update to Windows 10) and they seem to match – or at least resemble – the one we’re seeing now.

Microsoft says while the design of Windows 10 won’t change significantly, they want a heavier focus on animations and cleaner interfaces for apps and services. This appears to be the case with these leaked screenshots as a heavy use of animations and a super clean UI seem to be present. We should learn more about Project Neon at Build 2017 in May so stay tuned.
