LG Will Launch the G6 in the US on April 7th

A new report from VentureBeat claims that LG will launch their upcoming G6 smartphone on April 7th. This follows a previous report last month that the handset would be unveiled at an MWC 2017 event on February 27th, three weeks from now.

Very little is out there that we don’t already know about the LG G6. It’s set to sport an 18:9 5.7-inch 2880×1440 display, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, dual cameras, a fingerprint sensor, Android Nougat, water resistance, the Google Assistant, and come in both glossy and brushed metal finishes. The only thing we basically don’t know yet is the price which VentureBeat says will be set to compete with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8, a smartphone reported to land on April 21st, two weeks after the G6 launches.

We’ve only get three weeks until we see the G6’s unveiling, so stay tuned to MBEDDED for further developments.
