You Can Now Save Offline Netflix Content to a microSD Card

In the latest version of the Netflix app for Android, users have been granted the ability to save offline content to an external microSD card if their device supports it. This means that those with limited internal storage on their devices can now enjoy the same pleasures those have with 128GB users.

– SD Card support*. New “Download Location” app setting that lets you control where to save downloaded content: Internal Storage or SD Card (new permission requested)
– Bug fixes
*This feature is not available on all devices.
Do note that there’s a time limit for how long you can have movies and TV shows on your SD card without watching them, while not all versions of Android and devices with microSD card slots are supported. Still, it’s a really nice convenience to have in the day and age where HD content streaming is preferred and more storage is needed.
