BlackBerry to Formally Announce ‘Mercury’ Smartphone at MWC 2017


BlackBerry has announced that on February 25th during Mobile World Congress 2017, the company will formally introduce the ‘Mercury’ smartphone. This marks the final handset for the now software-focused company with a physical QWERTY keyboard. From then on, devices with digital keyboards will only be introduced with the famous ‘BB’ branding.

If you recall, back at CES 2017, we finally got our first official glimpse at the ‘Mercury,’ however BlackBerry was extremely skimpy on details regarding the handset. However, we expect to learn much more when it get its official name and spec list at MWC.
