Via Android Authority, LG has begun sending out press invitations for an event taking place February 26th at MWC 2017, presumably to unveil their next flagship smartphone, the G6. We don’t have much to go by, but the event should be held at 12:00 PM local time.
As for specs, the G6 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 5.7-inch QHD+ 18:9 display. The leaked press release associated with the invites also hints at a new heat pipe cooling system so the phone doesn’t get too hot, a likely jab at the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. We may also hear about the company’s new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches that are expected to be unveiled at the beginning of February, but this isn’t confirmed yet.
