Today at CES 2017 like many other products, Asus confirmed the existence of the Chromebook Flip 2, known as the Chromebook Flip C302. This follows previous rumors and leaks seemingly claiming that this laptop-tablet hybrid would arrive eventually.

Not much is different between this model and the first generation, but it’s still worth noting what comes packed inside. And be forewarned, Asus has made the switch entirely to USB-C with the Chromebook Flip 2, so no more USB Type-A for you.

  • 12.5-inch 1080p display
  • 6th-generation Intel Core m3 processor
  • 4/8GB RAM
  • 32/64/128GB storage
  • HD web camera
  • 10 hours battery life
  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 4.2
  • Two USB-C ports
  • Headphone jack
  • SD card slot
  • 360-degree hinge with touchscreen

The Chromebook Flip 2 is available starting today for a pretty hefty $499, especially when considering this thing runs Chrome OS. Now comes the usual question: who’s buying?
