Sony’s Xperia X Performance Now Receiving Android Nougat

Multiple users are reporting to XperiaBlog that Android Nougat is now hitting the Sony Xperia X Performance. This comes the same week as the LG G5 begins receiving v7.0 of Google’s mobile OS on T-Mobile.

As of now, only select regions appear to be receiving the update, however it is hitting both the single SIM (F8131) and dual-SIM (F8132) variants of the Xperia X Performance. Firmware version 39.2.A.0.327 is being received by both devices.

Currently, there’s no word from Sony themselves on Nougat for the Xperia X Performance, however we’ll let you know if we hear anything. In the meantime, to check and see if you received the update, head to Settings > About phone > Software Updates on your device. Be sure to send us some screenshots of the update via or @MBEDDEDMaximum on Twitter.
