Two years ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 with a waterproof design, a 5.1-inch AMOLED HD display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a fingerprint sensor that was a bit awkward to use. However, the phone nonetheless met great reviews after it launched and paved the way for plenty of improvement which Samsung took action on the next year with the Galaxy S6. But this doesn’t go without saying that the 2014 flagship didn’t go over well, because it most certainly did.
Since the phone’s now two years old, if you wanted to pick one up, you’d usually have to spend around $300 for it unlocked. However, what if I told you that you could get a refurbished model over on eBay for as little as $114.99?
Yes, I’m for real.
Right now, eBay seller cellfree who, by the way, has received 98.7% in positive overall feedback, is selling a refurbished model of the Galaxy S5 for as little as $114.99. The seller notes that there’ll likely be some scratches or stuffs around the phone, but does that even matter for $115?
The S5 comes unlocked and works with all GSM carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T. Plus, the phone’s upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it’s not like you’ll be stuck with KitKat if you pick one up. You’re also getting 16GB of storage and 4G LTE.
All in all, I highly recommend grabbing a refurbished S5 on eBay for this extremely cheap price. Even if you already have a phone, this way you’ll have a backup device or burner phone. I always like having backup devices, so I may grab one of these puppies myself.
