Apple’s Online Store is Now Down Ahead of Today’s Keynote

Every event Apple hosts, they usually start building up some hype surrounding the new stuff they’ll unveil. This is why they tend to take down their entire online store beforehand so the proper updating can be completed. But it’s not like you’d get a 404 error message if you try to visit it while it’s down. Apple always displays a rotating message in various languages that’ll get you excited for the day’s announcements. And this year? Well, this is exactly what the company did.

As you can see, this year’s message reads, “We’ve got something special in store for you. And we can’t wait for you to see it. Please check back soon.” Clearly, Apple’s trying to build up some hype ahead of their event today which kicks off at 10AM PT/1PM ET. We’ll, of course, let you know when the store goes live again, so stay tuned.

At today’s Apple keynote, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be unveiled with a slight redesign, an  A10 chip, no headphone jack, better waterproofing, a Force Touch home button, a dual-camera system on the back of the 7 Plus, and more. We’re also expecting the Apple Watch 2 to launch with a GPS chip, a thinner design, a fast S2 SoC, new Bands, and more. New headphones such as refreshed EarPods are also expected to launch, however we’ll have to wait and see what happens to really be sure of ourselves.

If you’d like to watch this year’s September keynote, head over to our handy guide and learn how to regardless what device you plan on watching from. Of course, we’ll have full coverage of all today’s announcements, so be sure to stay tuned to MBEDDED for the latest updates!
