Apple has formally announced their 2016 Apple Music Festival which will be held in London. A total of 10 performers will be present at the event over the course of 13 days ranging from September 18th to the 30th. This marks the 10th anniversary of the company’s annual music festival, so it seems proper to have 10 performers come out and sing for the crowd.
Here’s a full list of all the performers announced and the dates when they’ll be on stage.
- September 18: Elton John
- September 19: The 1975
- September 20: Alicia Keys
- September 21: One Republic
- September 23: Calvin Harris
- September 25: Robbie Williams
- September 26: Bastille
- September 27: Britney Spears
- September 28: Michael Bublé
- September 30: Chance The Rapper
We’re expecting more performers to be announced before the event starts, as last year’s lineup consisted of over 20 different performers. We’ll likely have to wait until next month to hear the rest of the lineup, but this is at least a good start.
The Roundhouse will be where the Apple Music Festival will take place next month. This is the same auditorium where the other 9 events had taken place. Fans who want to attend the event in London will have to try to win tickets by entering prize draws on Apple Music and hope they’re chosen. If you don’t plan on attending, you can also watch the event live on Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, Apple TV or Android phone in 100 countries worldwide. Once the event’s over, you’ll also be able to watch the concerts on-demand on the same platforms listed above.
Quotes from the announced performers were published by Apple online which you can read below. You can also view some artwork Apple put together to represent each individual performer who will sing at the festival this year.
