Variety has released a report which states that a new show airing on VH1 will be a cooking show and feature two hosts, wtih one being Marth Stewart and other being (drumroll please)… Snoop Dogg.

Yes, you read correctly. Mr. D-O-double-G himself will be hosting Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party with Mrs. Stewart herself to have good times with their celebritiy friends at dinner parties every episode.

As of yet, it’s not very clear just how the show will play out, however Marth describes the show as a “redesign” of a cooking competition show we see constantly pop up on Food Network nowadays.

“At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity,” Stewart said. “‘Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party’ will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.”

That’s great and all, but Snoop’s description of the show sounds like him and his ‘homegirl’ are gonna be drinking, cooking, and having a good time constantly.

“My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”

That sounds like a show I’ve gotta check out.

VH1 and Logo president Chris McCarthy also had a few words to say about Marth and Snoop’s Dinner Party to express his excitement for the show.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, two of pop culture’s biggest icons,” said VH1 and Logo president Chris McCarthy. “Good parties are filled with fun, food and unexpected guests. Wait til you see what happens at ‘Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party’; it will be unforgettable.”

This isn’t the first time Snoop has ‘rolled’ with Marth Stweart, as he’s previously appeared on two eipsodes of Stewart’s cooking show. The pair also recently appeard together on the ABC game show $100,000 Pyramid. And clearly, the two have some type of chemistry that in retrospecitve, shouldn’t be there. But nontheless, this should be an interesting show when it airs for the first time.

And trust me, I’ll be watching.
