Verizon has announced that you’ll be able to pick up the newly announced Moto Z and Z Force (known to the carrier as the Moto Z DROID and Z Force DROID) starting July 28th. If you don’t have a calendar in front of you, that’s next Thursday, so you don’t have to wait much longer.
Pricing for the Moto Z DROID starts at $26 per month, while you’ll be able to pick up the handset for $624 up front if you wish. The Z Force DROID will run for $30 per month, while $720 is what you’ll pay when you decide to get the device paid in full. Both handsets are available starting today for preorder and will begin shipping July 28th. An up to $300 credit will also be offered by Verizon to you if you trade in your current smartphone. The carrier also promises that they’ll accept the device you give them even if it has a cracked screen.
In addition, an unlocked variant of the Moto Z will be available, however Lenovo hasn’t announced any specific pricing or availability as of yet.
Moto Mods will also be offered from Verizon starting at $14.99 and go all the way up to $299. Products like the Style Shells, battery packs, JBL’s speakers and more will all be available at the time of your purchase either for preorder or direct order. And starting today through the 27th of July, you’ll be able to purchase a Moto Mod and get your second 40% off. That’s a pretty sweet deal, if I do say so myself.
