Pretty much by now, we’ve all dreamed of what life would be like if we had flying cars to cruise around in. Less traffic, you won’t hit any pedestrians (unless they have a jetpack or something), and how cool is a flying car?! Serioulsy?!

Anyway, since it was pretty much bound to happen, Slovakian company Aeromobil has built a prototype of a flying car which they recently unveiled. Exact speeds of this machine aren’t known currently, however the previous model of this same car could travel in the air at speeds up to 124 mph for 430 miles, while on the road Aero go up to 100 mph for 310 miles. Not much else is known at this time, however the company notes that the Aeromobil 3.0 is is indeed a prototype and that it’s prone to plenty of changes before the final product hits the market.

Commercial testing of this futuristic vehicle will begin next year according to CEO Juraj Vaculik. He also believes that flying cars are the future and that Aeromobil can breathe new life into how we commute.

“We want to make personal transportation exciting, more efficient and sustainable. With ever more cars on the roads and ever more crowded airports, traveling is no longer what it used to be,” AeroMobil’s CTO Stefan Klein said at the unveiling (via Tech Blog).
