SanDisk is known for creating ways to expand the current amount of storage you have on your device, whether inside a camera, smartphone, tablet, or even a laptop amongst others. Basically, these guys are the company you go to for all your digital storage needs. However, iPhone users have kinda been left out in the cold since Apple doesn’t allow any type of additional storage to be added to their devices. This all changes today as SanDisk has introduced a new case that adds up to an extra 128GB of storage to your iPhone without the need of any additional cables.

It’s called the iXpand Memory Case, and it’s designed to work with the iPhone 6 and 6s (unfortunately no older iPhones or even Plus models are supported). By plugging into the Lightning port on the iPhone, SanDisk was able to allow 32, 64, or 128GB of extra flash storage to be available for the device. Since Apple doesn’t support accessories like this natively in their OSes, you’ll have to download the free companion app. The app will allow you to have all your photos back up automatically to the extra storage drive alongside add password protection to your pics and files. All in all, this is a very capable case with plenty of goodies to make your experience with your iPhone a lot better.

But no, it doesn’t stop there. SanDisk is also allowing customers to get the memory case alongside an additional 1900mAh battery you attach to the back of the case for some added juice. This addition will run you an extra $40, but it’ll be worth it in the end, especially since – at least according to the video above – you can’t charge your phone via a Lightning cable through this case.

Pricing is as follows: 32GB of additional storage is $59, 64GB is $99, and 128GB is $129. If you choose to grab the optional battery pack, those prices come to $99, $139, and $169 respectively. Colors include Red, Grey, Sky, or Mint and you can pick up your case over on Amazon starting today.

Will you be picking up the iXpand Memory Case for your iPhone 6 or 6s?
