Apple has started sending out invitations to many publications (unfortunately not ourselves) around the world to join them at WWDC June 13th. The event will take place at a different arena this year than it has during past keynotes and start at 10AM PT/1PM ET.

The arena in question is the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the same place where we first met the iPhone 6s back in September. Normally, WWDC is held at Moscone West, and while there will still be conferences held there during WWDC 16, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorim will be “center stage” if you will for the event.

We’re expecting to hear about iOS 10, OS X (MacOS?) 10.12, tvOS 10, and watchOS 3 at this year’s WWDC keynote alongside the possibility of new MacBooks, however these laptops won’t be released until Q4 of 2016 if rumors are correct. We also expect to hear a little news about a Siri SDK alongside a major upgrade for the virtual assistant.

We’ll have full coverage of WWDC 2016 here on MBEDDED throughout the event. Regular updates will be present, so stay tuned as more information about the keynote comes in!

You can learn more about WWDC over on the official website where the event will be streamed.

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off at the historic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium for an unforgettable Monday as Apple’s renowned developer community comes together to learn about the future of OS X, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The Keynote and State of the Union promise exciting reveals, providing inspiration and new opportunities to continue creating the most innovative apps in the world. End the day by honoring the most remarkable developers of the year at the Apple Design Awards.
