Apple’s iPad Pro is a fantastic tablet. Not laptop (like it thinks it could be), tablet. And it’s huge. Like… huge huge. It has a gorgeous 12.9 inch 2732×2048 Retina display, Apple’s A9X chipset, 4GB of RAM, iOS 9, a 110,307mAh battery, 4 sterio speakers (one next to each corner), and, for some reason, an 8MP camera capable of shooting 1080p video. And with specs like that, you can expect a high price point, and you’d be right.
The iPad Pro starts at $799… and that’s for 32GB of space. That’s a lot of money for something that’s just a blown up version of it’s older brother (the iPad Air). And if you want 128GB of storage (which you’ll need because 32GB ain’t cuttin’ it) with cellular, you’re gonna have to choke up $1079. I hope you were sitting down for that…
However, even though the tablet is that much from Apple, that won’t stop other people from selling their unit for less. And here’s the proof: right now, you can grab the iPad Pro in Space Gray with 128GB of storage (however Wi-Fi only) for just $898. That’s only $91 more than what you’d pay for 32GB of space in your iPad from Apple.
We weren’t able to find any other colors available for this price point, so you’re most likely stuck with Space Gray, but for $890, you’d probably like to be stuck with that rather spend another $100 for Gold or Silver.
