Apple has released the next update to El Capitan, OS X 10.11.3, to Mac users via the “Updates” tab in the Mac App Store. This comes just over a week after Apple released the first beta of OS X 10.11.4, the update to the operating system that’s bringing features like Live Photos in Messages.

The OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac. This update is recommended for all OS X El Capitan users.

This update contains bug fixes and security updates.

According to the release notes, it looks like Apple just focused on bug fixes and security updates rather user facing tweaks and changes, and that was the case with the update’s beta process. Nothing was ever discovered over the course of the two betas released that made the OS appear different. So if you’re looking for any major features in an OS X update, you’ll have to wait until 10.11.4 makes it to the Mac App Store, or, if you’re that impatient, sign up for Apple’s public beta program and download the build to test it out. But be warned, there’s bound to be bugs.

Let us know if you notice any bugs found in 10.11.2 that appear to be ironed out or any new problems you’ll need to face with a comment!
