According to Cult of Mac, Apple makes more money in just one and a half minutes than Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs biopic did this past weekend.
Anyway, according to the data Cult of Mac provided in their post, it states that the movie is only playing in 326 theaters (all together), most theaters dropped the film caused by low earnings, and the fact that the movie only made another $394,000 this past weekend.
To put that in perspective, it’s only a little over 1/100 of what Spectre made during the same period, less than Steve Jobs earned when it was playing on just four screens in Los Angeles and New York earlier this year, and slightly less than Apple brings in in revenue in one-and-half minutes.
