New releases of Apple’s iOS 9 have become available to consumers everywhere over the past few days. Let’s take a look at what the Cali. company released:

iOS 9.1 Beta 2 Released to Developers & Public Beta Testers

Apple has released their 2nd beta of iOS 9.1 to developers and public beta testers. In the new update for iOS 9, so far it looks like it’ll mostly include new emojis and under-the-hood fixes. However, in this beta, Apple has included a new toggle which can be found in Settings > Messages called “Show Contact Photos”. By toggling on or off, you can decide whether you’d like to see your contact’s photo you assigned to them while in the Messages app.
The new build number is 13B5119e. The previous build was 13B5110e. You can download the latest beta of iOS 9.1 if you’re already on beta 1 by going to Settings > General > Software Updates. There, you’ll find the new update, ready for you to install it.

iOS 9.0.1 Released, Focused on Bug Fixes & Improvements

Apple has released to the public their 1st official update to iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1. This update mainly fixes issues reported by users claiming they couldn’t complete setup assistant, their alarms weren’t working right, pausing a video wouldn’t work right, and more.

You can head over to Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device to download the update.

Update: Apple has also released iOS 9.0.1 for iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as well. So when you get your iPhone 6S, be sure to update it to the latest version of iOS, with iOS 9 most likely coming with the new smartphone out of the box.
